Ingredients

  • 16 gluten free crostini
  • 1 wedge brie
  • 2 honeycrisp apples
  • 2 tbsp apricot jam
  • 1/4 cup basil (lightly packed)
  • coarse salt

Instructions

  • Slice the apple into thin slices then cut those slices into halves or quarters so that they will fit on the crostini. Slice the basil into long, thin strips.
  • Spread the brie on the crostini.
If you plan to wait a little while before eating your crostini, make sure to cover the whole crostini with brie. This will create a barrier that will prevent the water from the apples from soaking into the crostini and making them soggy.
  • Lay a few apple slices out on top of the brie. Press them into the brie to help them stick on the crostini.
  • Add a dollop of apricot jam on top of the apples.
  • Add a few basil strips on top of the apricot jam. Press the basil into the apricot jam to help it stick on the crostini.
  • Sprinkle some coarse or flaky salt on top of the crostini to finish them.
