Servings: 16 crostini
- 16 gluten free crostini
- 1 wedge brie
- 2 honeycrisp apples
- 2 tbsp apricot jam
- 1/4 cup basil (lightly packed)
- coarse salt
Slice the apple into thin slices then cut those slices into halves or quarters so that they will fit on the crostini. Slice the basil into long, thin strips.
Spread the brie on the crostini. If you plan to wait a little while before eating your crostini, make sure to cover the whole crostini with brie. This will create a barrier that will prevent the water from the apples from soaking into the crostini and making them soggy. Lay a few apple slices out on top of the brie. Press them into the brie to help them stick on the crostini.
Add a dollop of apricot jam on top of the apples.
Add a few basil strips on top of the apricot jam. Press the basil into the apricot jam to help it stick on the crostini.
Sprinkle some coarse or flaky salt on top of the crostini to finish them.
