Ingredients

  • 9 oz gluten free pizza dough
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup arugula
  • 1 white peach
  • 1 shallot (medium sized)
  • 1 ball burrata cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • balsamic glaze

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 475.
If you are using a pizza stone or pizza steel, put it in the oven before turning the oven on to preheat.
  • Slice the shallots into thin slices. Slice the peaches into slices that are around 1/2 inch thick.
  • Roll the pizza crust out so that it is 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick.
We recommend shaping the pizza crust on a sheet of parchment paper that can be transferred to a baking sheet or pizza stone for cooking. If your pizza dough is sticky, you will need to cover your hands in flour or olive oil to prevent the dough from sticking to your hands.
  • Spread a thin layer of olive oil over the top of the pizza. Leave a rim of pizza dough without olive oil around the edge of the pizza for the crust.
  • Spread the mozzarella cheese over the top of the pizza then spread the peaches and shallots out over the top of the pizza.
  • Bake the pizza at 475 degrees for 15 - 18 minutes or until the edges of the crust lightly brown.
  • Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before adding the arugula salad.
After the pizza has cooled, add the arugula and burrata in the center of the pizza then top the arugula salad with salt, pepper, and a balsamic drizzle.

Notes

Measuring pizza dough. Are you having trouble figuring out how much pizza dough to use to make this peach burrata pizza? If you are buying pizza dough at the grocery store then there should be a label on the pizza dough that displays the number of ounces in the bag. If you are making your own pizza, you should use around 1 1/2 cups of flour to make the appropriate amount of dough. 9 ounces of dough should be roughly enough to make a 12 inch pizza.
